Competing on price only is a lose-lose situation as something always has to be cut back to lower the price. We refuse to join the cut price brigade out there that scrimps on either service or equipment just to shave a few dollars off the weekly rental price.
Yes, we would be a little cheaper if we outsourced our call centre to overseas. We could also cut our prices back a bit if we just sent you a loan terminal by courier if you had problems. But that would go against everything we stand for – and that is top quality, local service.
• Do you believe quality and service are important? We do.
• Is it important that you don’t miss a sale because your Eftpos is down? It’s important to us too. We will not send a replacement terminal by courier or have you talk to a call centre outside of New Zealand after hours. We will talk to you ourselves – and be on site within four hours (usually less) if required.
• Do you want to avoid losing turnover for the sake of few dollars per week? If your “cheaper” Eftpos terminal breaks down it could suddenly become very, very expensive when your “cheaper” supplier doesn’t turn up within four hours to fix it like we do.
• Did you think you were getting a cheap weekly rental price, only to be hit by huge installation/service fees? We are up front about our fees – there will be no nasty surprises.
